Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault during a road rage incident in Harringay.

The incident happened at Arena Shopping Park near Harringay Green Lanes Station shortly after 2.30pm on Monday, 10th October. It involved the occupants of two cars who were in a “dispute” after the vehicles had been involved in a collision.

The occupants of one car – a man and a woman – alleged they were assaulted by the occupants of the other. Their injuries, which were the result of punches and a headbutt, were not life threatening.

Detective Constable Morris of the Metropolitan Police’s north area command unit, said: “The shopping park was busy at the time of this incident and we know a number of people were in the vicinity when this incident took place.

“If you saw anything, or took images or video of the incident or the vehicles involved, then please get in contact.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote reference 4172/10OCT. Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
