A nationwide careers fair company is making its London debut in Tottenham this week.

The UK Careers Fair is hosting its first jobs fair in the capital at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday, 17th November. The recruitment event will take place from 10am–2pm, giving candidates the opportunity to meet more than 150 local and national employers and directly apply for vacancies.

The fair is free and open to people of all ages and levels of experience. Attendees will also be able to access advice on CV writing and interview skills.

Organisations from a variety of sectors, including finance, education, human resources and banking, will be in attendance. Notable companies such as Royal Opera House, Kings College Hospital and London Ambulance Service will all have stalls at the fair.

Emma Davies, recruitment manager at the Royal Opera House said: “The recruitment team of the Royal Opera House are excited to take part in The UK Careers Fair and discuss the prospect of a career in the Performing Arts and the wide range of opportunities available.”

The UK Careers Fair is a networking platform that connects job seekers and employers and hosts regular, award-winning jobs fairs and recruitment events across more than 50 locations in the UK.

Jordan Lawson, managing director of The UK Careers Fair, said: “We all know that online applications can be very time-consuming and transactional. By attending this event, candidates from in and around London will be able to network directly with local and national companies to discover new opportunities, and employers can find extraordinary talent.”

Earlier this year, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hosted its own successful careers fairs, a partnership between Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and the Department of Work and Pensions.

Daniel Levy, Chairman, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “Tottenham Hotspur has been the key driver of employment within our community for many years – more than 4,000 local people have found jobs across a range of sectors.

“We are therefore delighted that The UK Careers Fair has elected to hold its London event at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium,” he added.
