The RSCPA is currently appealing for information about the wayfaring skunk, reports Miriam Balanescu

Sightings of a skunk nearby a bus stop in Muswell Hill have been reported to the RSPCA.
The mammal was captured on CCTV footage on Tuesday scurrying towards commuters who were waiting at the stop, with the RSCPA confirming that the animal was “definitely a skunk”.
Local resident Lauren O’Hara, who spotted the creature this morning, told The Sun: “At first I thought it was a cat.
“I couldn’t believe it.
“The way it stopped at the bus stop, I thought it might be hopping on with me.”
The animal has been nicknamed Pepé Le Pew after the cartoon skunk and quickly amassed internet fame.
Skunks are infamous for spraying a liquid with a fetid odour from their glands.
It is believed that Pepé is still on the run, and the RSPCA are appealing for information.
