The two women have been hospitalised and one remains in a critical condition, reports Miriam Balanescu

A woman has fallen from a multi-storey car park in Wood Green onto a pedestrian on the street below, leaving both hospitalised.

The woman fell from The Mall car park in Wood Green yesterday (12th April), landing on the female pedestrian who was waiting at a nearby bus stop on High Road. Police were called by LAS at 4.50pm.

The two women were taken to hospital for treatment. The woman who fell from a height is in critical condition, while the pedestrian’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The Met Police has released a statement saying they are trying to contact the women’s families and inquiries are “ongoing”.

The High Road and surrounding roads had been closed but have since reopened.
