Three men charged in connection with murder of Tyler McDermott

Police have charged a further three men folllowing their arrest in Northamptonshire

A further three men have been charged in connection with the murder of Tyler McDermott, who was killed in a fatal shooting on Norman Road earlier this month.

On Wednesday, 19th April, Damaris McBeth of Lucern Close, Cheshunt and Rhys Antwi of Prentis Road, SW16 were arrested in Northamptonshire on suspicion of murder. On Thursday, 20th April, Alfred Coker of Bowen Drive, SE21 was arrested in London on suspicion of murder. All were charged on 22nd April and were remanded in custody.

Coker appeared at Croydon Magistrates Court on Saturday, 22nd April, while Antwi and McBeth appeared at Willesden Magistrates Court on the same day.

Three other men have previously been charged with Tyler’s murder: Tyrese Barnett, Leo Reid, and Tyrese Matthews.

Tyler was killed in a fatal shooting which took place at 4.20am on Thursday, 13th April. He was taken to hospital, where he died on the afternoon of Friday, 14th.
