The drop-in event will be re-launching with ‘a special focus on serving the Asian community’

A Haringey lunch club serving Haringey residents will be reopening, putting ‘a special focus’ on welcoming the local Asian community.
The Community Hub (Haringey) will be partnering with Kavya’s Kitchen to dish up hot, fresh food from Monday to Friday from 12pm until 2pm.
The lunch club is also focussed on helping elderly community members, who may otherwise struggle to cook.
A spokesperson for the community hub said: “We understand how important it is for our elderly community members who may be unwell or unable to cook or travel to have access to delicious and nutritious meals. That’s why we offer various options to accommodate needs, including eat-in, take-away, and home delivery services.”
A thali menu will be updated daily, including dishes such as masala dosa and pav bhaji.
