Haringey Giving extends charity appeal

As part of the Changing Lives campaign, donations which go towards making a difference to local communities will be doubled

Haringey Giving has announced that it will be extending its Changing Lives appeal until next week.

The appeal will now be open for charity donations until 12pm on 25th July, which will be doubled by Haringey Giving’s funding partners.

The Changing Lives appeal raises funds for the charity’s Changing Lives Programme, using microgrants to support local organisations and groups to ‘overcome challenges in their lives’.

David Lammy MP and Haringey mayor Cllr Lester Buxton have lent their support to the appeal.

Independent news outlets like ours – reporting for the community without rich backers – are under threat of closure, turning British towns into news deserts.
