Two Haringey takeaways up for Asian food awards

Barbers Bazaar and Mohammedi Indian Takeaway have been nominated

Two Asian restaurants in Haringey have been nominated for an Asian food award.

Barbers Bazaar in Tottenham Lane, Crouch End, and Mohammedi Indian Takeaway, in Myddleton Road, Bounds Green, have been selected in the regional heat of the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA).

The two restaurants are up against takeaways including The Tiffin Tin in Totteridge Lane, Chilli Tuk Tuk in North Finchley, Tiffins Club in Amhurst Road, Stoke Newington and Kitchen Dhaanya in Hoxton Street.

ARTA celebrates diversity and culinary excellence in Asian cuisine in the UK by awarding restaurants, takeaways and chefs.

Winners will be announced in October.
