Tottenham creative collective celebrates first birthday

The Ramshackle Collective celebrated turning one earlier this week, reports Olivia Opara

A local collective of creatives and performers is celebrating its first anniversary.

On Tuesday (12th), the Ramshackle Collective hosted a party in celebration of its first birthday, with poetry, music, comedy and spoken word performances throughout the evening. The collective is a community of local musicians, writers, poets, artists, comedians and creatives who meet weekly to share their work and hosts gigs, open mics and workshops.

The collective was started by songwriter and comedian Wobbie Wobbit who was part of a musical comedy duo with Mark Bowden and played the double bass for the band “The Wise Wound”. Wobbie now performs gigs and hosts comedy workshops locally and in surrounding areas.

The party was held at the Ten to One bar on Philip Lane.
