A new bakery is set to arrive in Muswell Hill.

Charlotte O’Kelly, who founded Astrid Bakery in lockdown 2020, will be bringing her first shop to Muswell Hill on Alexandra Park Road. Previously, Charlotte had been running the “micro” bakery from her kitchen counter.

The shop, selling cakes, cinnamon buns and artisan breads, is expected to open in early 2024.

Charlotte announced the new opening in a Facebook post, saying: “Wowza! A big hello to all the new people. Having operated from home for the past three years, we are getting ready to open our first bricks and mortar bakery site early in 2024. There’s a lot going on behind the tiny facade on Alexandra Park Road, so follow along for a few sneak peeks.”
