Haringey ranks eighth for ‘holiday-related crime’

A new study has looked at crime rates for December 2020-22 across London boroughs

A new study has found Haringey to have the eighth-highest rate of crime around the festive season.

The ADT study looked at crime rates in December 2020 to December 2022 across all London boroughs, finding Haringey to have the eighth highest rate of ‘holiday-related crime’.

Per 1,000 population, Haringey had an average of 110.98 crimes in December. Camden ranked first, scoring 144.88 crimes in December per 1,000 population, averaged across the three years.

Kensington and Chelsea and Islington ranked second and third respectively.
