Haringey healthcare assistant up for award

Swati Gor works at Havergal Surgery

A healthcare assistant from Haringey is in the running for a national award.

Swati Gor, who works at Havergal Surgery, has been nominated by colleagues for the NHS’ Skills for Health Our Health Heroes Awards. She has been working at the surgery since 2000.

Trudy Do, practice manager, said: “Swati’s readiness to put patient needs first, even giving up their own free time, not only enhances patient outcomes but also sets a benchmark for quality standards in our GP Practice.”

Dr Syed, GP added: “Swati’s empathetic nature has not only aided in the healing of our patients but also in fostering a supportive environment in our facility – they are a pillar of strength for our team.”

Awards are currently being voted on by members of the public.

Gold, silver and bronze Clinical Support Worker of the Year award winners will be announced at a special ceremony held in London on 16th April.
