The Bridge Renewal Trust is spearheading a “dynamic redevelopment programme” of Chestnuts Community Centre

A community centre in a South Tottenham park is set to be “transformed” thanks to funding from a charity.
Chestnuts Community Centre, a “cherished” community hub nestled within Chestnuts Park, is getting a “makeover” using funding from The Bridge Renewal Trust.
The charity says it is “spearheading a dynamic redevelopment programme to attract investment and transform our beloved centre into a beacon of efficiency and purpose”.
The centre will be getting new roofing and guttering, upgraded heating and hot water systems, and enhanced access and security. Subsequent phases of the project will see users of the centre invited to share ideas “on how we can elevate the centre as a community treasure”.
Around 27 diverse groups use Chestnuts Community Centre on a regular basis, with over 14,500 visitors recorded last year,
