Man charged after shots fired in Wood Green

There were no reports of any injuries

A man has appeared in court charged with offences following a firearm discharge in Wood Green.

Treynae Salmon, aged 26 and of Swasedale Road, Luton, appeared in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (24th) charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of cannabis.

The charge follows an incident where a firearm was discharged in Commerce Road, Wood Green, at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, 21st June. There were no reports of any injuries.

Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD8234/21June. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
