More passengers will be able to keep dry on rainy days while they wait for trains to Hertfordshire

Greater Anglia has announced that Northumberland Park Station will receive a new passenger waiting shelter.
The new metal and glass shelter will be installed on platform four, which is where passengers board trains north up to Hertfordshire.
They will help protect people from the elements as they wait for trains.
Greater Anglia is investing £250,000 in the work to install shelters at both Northumberland Park and Brimsdown stations, which is expected to be completed in March.
Greater Anglia’s Asset Management Director, Simone Bailey, said: “We are pleased to be installing new shelters at Brimsdown and Northumberland Park to improve the facilities for station users.
“Investing in upgrades to stations across the network is extremely important to Greater Anglia, demonstrating our commitment to providing excellent facilities and service standards for our customers.”
“We apologise for any inconvenience while this work is carried out.”
