Second man charged with murder over Tottenham stabbing

A second man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Tottenham last year.

Okechukwu Iweha, 46, died after being stabbed in Worcester Avenue on 7th April 2024.

Devon Brown, aged 29 of no fixed abode, was arrested on suspicion of murder, manslaughter, possession of a knife/pointed blade and perverting the course of justice after arriving at Heathrow Airport today (Friday 24th) following his extradition from the United States.

He will appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Saturday 25th).

Previously, Leandro Kaienga, aged 28 and of no fixed abode, was charged with murder and possession of a bladed article (knife). He is remanded in custody ahead of a trial at Wood Green Crown Court which is currently scheduled to commence on 24th February.
