Appeal for information after gunshots fired in Tottenham Hale

Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed a firearm discharge in Tottenham Hale last month to come forward.

The gun was discharged several times at approximately 7.50pm on Thursday, 21st August during a fight between a group of men in Fairbanks Road. This incident is now being investigated by the Metropolitan Police.

Detective Constable Emma Richards said: “Were you in or near to Fairbanks Road between 7.45pm and 8pm and know anything about this incident? Did you hear gunshots?

“If so, we are asking witnesses to step forward and tell us what they heard or saw.

“If you have any information at all that may help us with this investigation, please call 101 and reference CAD 6779/21AUG.”
