A man from Wood Green has been charged with murder following the death of an 18-year-old.

Adem Altindal, aged 32, is accused of killed victim Tyrece Balcha outside a bar in north-west London.

Police were called at 5.27am on Sunday (21st) to Atlantic Crescent, Wembley, to reports of a shooting outside a bar.

Officers attended and found an 18-year-old man with a gunshot injury. He was taken to hospital and sadly died on Thursday (25th). He has been named as Tyrece Balcha, from Hillingdon. His next-of-kin are being supported by officers.

In a statement, his family said: “We are devastated that our amazing son, brother, and grandchild who is kind, loving, funny, and hardworking has been senselessly taken from us.

“We are grieving for his life that has been cut short but through his selfless gift as a donor, his spirit will live on. He will be deeply missed.”

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Clarke, who is leading the investigation, said: “Our thoughts are with the loved ones of Tyrece at this very difficult time. They continue to be supported by specialist officers, and we ask you to respect their privacy.

“My team continue to work at pace to establish the full circumstances that led to this man’s tragic death.”


Two other men were charged with attempted murder; Rafael Reveane Rodriguez, aged 39 and of Middleton Road, Morden, and Dennis Gambrah, aged 32 and of Dressington Avenue, Lewisham.

They were both remanded in custody and are set to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday, 23rd October.

Seven more people have been arrested in connection with the investigation.
