Haringey lottery winner yet to claim six-figure prize

Someone bought a winning ticket worth more £100,000 but has yet to come forward

A Haringey lottery winner has yet to come forward to claim their six-figure prize.

The EuroMillions prize worth £104,628 has yet to be claimed from a ticket bought in the borough and local National Lottery players are being urged to check their tickets to see if they could be the winner.

The prize was won after the unidentified player matched the five main numbers and one ‘lucky star’ in the draw on Tuesday, 7th July.  The ticket-holder has until 3rd January next year to claim their prize.

Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to The National Lottery’s operator Allwyn, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.

Andy Carter, senior winners advisor at Allwyn, said: “A lucky EuroMillions player has won an incredible £104,628 and may not even know it yet. We are on a mission to reunite this ticket-holder with their prize and are urging players to check their tickets.

“Were you in or around Haringey in the week leading up to the 7th July draw? Do you live or work in the area, do you have friends or family there that you were visiting, or were you simply passing through? We want to find this mystery winner and unite them with their amazing prize.”

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help lottery-funded projects across the UK.
