Alexandra Police have warned residents to check their ‘home security’, reports Miriam Balanescu

Alexandra Police have issued a warning after the first reported residential burglary took place in Muswell Hill since June.
On Tuesday, 12th September at 6pm, the police say that entry was gained to a property on The Avenue, N10 ‘by using tools to force front door open’.
The police have advised residents to ‘review’ their ‘home security’ and to fit deadlocking rim locks, door chains and letterbox guards to front doors.
They also stated that if residents wish to have a home security survey completed they should contact them direct.
Metropolitan Police has been approached for comment.
