Public meeting to be held on future of Finsbury Park

Events such as the recent Krankbrother concerts are to be discussed by residents

Finsbury Park terror attack

Residents are set to hold a public meeting on the future of Finsbury Park at 6.30pm this evening (18th September).

The Friends of Finsbury Park are convening at Space4, Fonthill Road, to cover safety, events, boundary review, a skatepark, ecology and more.

The meeting will also address Haringey Council’s contentious “myths” marketing campaign pertaining to events held in Finsbury Park, toilets being shut, tree guidelines following Krankbrother events, and clarification over the Green Flag Awards.

The cabinet member for parks Emily Arkell has been invited, as well as ward councillors, representatives from Metropolitan Police and Museum of Homelessness.
