Banksy mural in Finsbury Park vandalised

The mural appeared on Hornsey Road on Sunday, 17th March

A new mural by Banksy in Finsbury Park appears to have been vandalised overnight (20th March).

An image which surfaced on social media shows what appears to be white paint splashed across the artwork.

An X (Twitter) user with the handle @psychologyamyb posted the image and wrote: “Someone’s vandalised the Banksy overnight. Gutted. Why can’t people let a community be happy without trying to ruin it.”

The mural had been created just three days earlier on Sunday, 17th March, with the legendary artist Banksy claiming it as his own on Monday, 18th March.
