What happens when an ancient god arrives in Tottenham?

The head of a local arts charity is presenting a community performance at Bernie Grant Arts Centre on Saturday

“What happens when an ancient god arrives on the streets of Tottenham?”

That is the question posed by Amanda Bright, the founder/director of Arts Bridge Charity.

Amanda is inviting Tottenham residents to join her for an “unforgettable afternoon” on Saturday (10th) at Bernie Grant Arts Centre as her emerging company of deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent performers presents a “ground-breaking devised piece”.

The innovative performance “weaves together rich storytelling and powerful performances”, creatively integrating audio description, British Sign Language, and captioning “to ensure an inclusive and immersive experience for all”.

Ancient mythology playfully collides with contemporary themes, while there is an opportunity to witness the “fusion of accessibility and artistry”, where every element is meticulously crafted to engage and enchant.

“Be part of a celebration of creativity, diversity, and the magic of modern mythology,” invites Amanda.

Pajoma/Collective explores what happens when an Ancient God lands on the streets of Tottenham. It is produced by Arts Bridge Charity with funding from Arts Council England and Cockayne Foundation. Partners include Almeida Theatre, Bernie Grant Arts Centre and Graeae. The performance itself is directed by Andrea Ling.
