Tottenham man charged in connection with fatal shooting

The 24-year-old has been charged with perverting the course of justice following Thursday’s attack

A Tottenham man has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old in Enfield last week.

Eliezer Mbaki, aged 24 and of Oulton Road, has been charged with perverting the course of justice and is due to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 2nd).

Victim Keanu Harker was fatally shot on the evening of Thursday, 26th June, in Great Cambridge Road. He died the same night from his injuries in hospital.

A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with murder. He is due to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow (Thursday 3rd).

The police say several lines of enquiry remain active, and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101, quoting crime reference number CAD 8393/26JUN, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
