Organisers want to bring together art, music and food with the aim of celebrating the local community, reports Alexandro Ioannides, Local Democracy Reporter

Two neighbours in Harringay are hosting a community market next month.
The idea for Catwalk Place Market came about after neighbours Hector Pereiro and Michael Anderson devised the plan for a neighbourhood market over some morning coffee.
They want the event to bring together art, music and food with the aim of celebrating the local community.
Harringay Warehouse District is known for being a hub of local creative and cultural output.
Catwalk Place Market will offer everything from ceramics, vintage and handmade clothes and jewellery, to music, workshops and homemade food – all supplied by local Haringey artists.
It will be held from 1pm-7pm on Sunday, 3rd May, in the courtyard of the area’s warehouses.
Co-organiser Michael told Haringey Community Press: “Hector and I live in Catwalk Place and we wanted to create a space where the neighbourhood and wider community can come together for a day and enjoy great food, discover unique, beautiful trinkets and support the amazing independent artists and traders we have in Haringey.”
He added: “There really will be something for everyone, and it will be family-friendly and a chance to meet your neighbour and community”.
The organisers hope that if the market is successful, it could become a yearly event.
