Polling stations are now open across Haringey as voting gets underway for the local election.

Registered voters will be able to select either two or three candidates on their ballot papers, depending on the size of their ward.

In total 57 councillors are set to be elected across 21 wards.

Voters can find their nearest polling stations here. Everyone must bring photographic identification to be able to vote – a list of valid ID can be found here.

The polls close at 10pm tonight (Thursday 7th).

Counting of votes will not begin until tomorrow morning (Friday 8th) at Alexandra Palace.

Haringey Community Press will be providing live coverage from the count via a live blog on this website.
