Havergal Surgery’s Swati Gor has showed an “unwavering commitment to patient care”

A Haringey healthcare assistant has won a prestigious national award.
Havergal Surgery’s Swati Gor has scooped the bronze award in the ‘Clinical Support Worker of the Year’ category at the Our Health Heroes Awards.
Swati was nominated by colleagues at Havergal Surgery in Green Lanes for demonstrating an unwavering commitment to patient care.
Since joining the surgery in 2000, Swati has personally mentored several newcomers, offering hands-on training, sharing best practices, and providing constructive feedback that has greatly accelerated colleagues’ professional development.
Under Swati’s mentorship, these new staff members quickly became competent and confident in their roles, significantly enhancing the overall quality of care provided at the practice.
Accepting her award, Swati said: “It feels really good when your hard work gets recognised. The atmosphere is great and feels good to be
surrounded by so many hardworking people to celebrate our achievements.”
The Skills for Health Our Health Heroes Awards is sponsored by NHS England, NHS Employers, NHS Shared Business Services and SFJ Awards. Find out more at skillsforhealth.org.uk/awards
