The museum in Finsbury Park will reopen on 17th April following its winter break

The Museum of Homelessness will be reopening for its summer season next month and is inviting local people to book their free visit.
Between November and the end of March the museum closes to general visitors and focuses instead on its community work. This includes a community Christmas event, getting supplies to the streets and running an emergency cold weather shelter in the museum.
However, with the coldest weather soon over, the museum will reopen its doors to the public on Thursday, 17th April.
Described by one visitor as “moving, intimate and powerful,” the museum includes not only the national collection for homelessness, but also a community garden, art, merch and refreshments with every booking.
Visits are free, but donations to support the museum’s community work are encouraged.
