Photographer Shubham Sarvaiya introduces his new Tottenham exhibition showcasing his travels through his homeland
My colourful photography exhibition has taken up residence at Marcus Garvey Library and showcases more than ten years of travel across my homeland.
In a relaxed atmosphere, the 15 pictures on display will take you from the Himalayan north to the most southern states of the subcontinent, from architecture to landscape, from artistic black and white to bright, sun-kissed scenery.
It is one thing to know that India is diverse, it is another to see the country transform itself through each frame: mountains, deserts, jungles, bustling cities… it has it all.
Each photograph in the Echoes of India collection captures a moment in time and invites viewers to embark on a visual journey across the diverse and vibrant landscapes of India.
The point of view is sharp and the collection reflects my deep love for my homeland and its natural beauty.
The high-quality prints are also for sale for all wanting to take a little piece of incredible India home.
Echoes of India is on display from Wednesday, 17th July, until Saturday, 17th August, at Marcus Garvey Library in Philip Lane, Tottenham, as part of Haringey Council’s South Asian Heritage Month celebration.
Whether you are an avid traveller, a photography enthusiast, or someone looking for a deeper connection to India’s rich heritage, this exhibition is sure to leave a lasting impression!
Entry to the exhibition is free and open to all during the library’s operating hours. For more information:
