The street party will transform Myddleton Road into a “lively, inclusive space” with live music, drag acts, DJs, workshops and children’s entertainment

A street party celebrating the LGBTQ community in Bowes Park will be held again this summer.
Bowes Park Pride is set to return with a vibrant, community-led celebration on Sunday, 5th July.
The event will transform Myddleton Road into a “lively, inclusive space filled with music, performances, local businesses, and community spirit”.
Building on the success of last year’s event, Bowes Park Pride 2026 promises “an even bigger and more ambitious programme”. Running from 12pm to 6pm, the event will feature a full afternoon of live entertainment, including drag performances, DJs, and special guest acts, alongside a “bustling street market atmosphere”.
There will also be kid-friendly creative workshops and dance tutorials.
Organised entirely by local volunteers, Bowes Park Pride is a grassroots initiative celebrating the diversity and creativity of the local community.
The event aims to create a family-friendly, welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all ages, identities, and backgrounds.
Giulio Folino, co-founder of Bowes Park Pride, said: “Bowes Park Pride is all about bringing people together and celebrating our local LGBTQIA+ community in a way that feels joyful, inclusive, and truly rooted in the area. What started as a small community idea has grown into something really special, and we’re excited to build on that momentum this year.”
In addition to live performances, the event will showcase local traders, food vendors, and community organisations, as well as opportunities for residents to get involved through volunteering and creative contributions.
The organisers are also working with local partners and sponsors to support the event and ensure it remains free and accessible to all.
Bowes Park Pride takes place the day after Pride in London, offering a more local, community-focused celebration that complements the capital’s wider Pride festivities.
The event is free to attend.
