The event promises opportunities to meet and greet with local firefighters, reports Olivia Opara

A local fire station will be hosting an open day in celebration of Black History Month.
On Sunday, 22nd October, Tottenham Fire station is asking the community to join it as it celebrates Black History Month and the fire services’ Black community. Throughout the day there will be opportunities to meet and speak with the station’s firefighters and get fire safety advice. There will also be Afro-Caribbean food and music and activities for children.
Guest NHS speakers will also be present on the day and will be speaking about illnesses that affect the Black community and will also be available for health advice.
The event will run from 12pm to 4pm.
