A choir charity is inviting families to join their free singing event in Tottenham.

The London Youth Choirs charity will host its free ‘Family Come & Sing’ event for parents and children at Bernie Grant Arts Centre in Tottenham next Thursday (31st).

From 10.30am to 12pm, the event welcomes children aged six to eleven and their parents/carers to relax and have fun at the workshop. The event will also teach participating families “the joys and benefits of singing”.

All levels of experience, including beginners, can take part in next week’s event, where free snacks and drinks will be provided during the break.

The London Youth Choirs is a charity working to “transform young lives through singing”. On its website, is says: “We particularly work to improve access for disadvantaged young people, supporting them to find their unique voice and to thrive through music.”

The charity formed its fourth regional choir last year in Tottenham, created as part of their ten-year anniversary plan to bring musical education closer to young people across London.
