People can dedicate a light to someone special as part of North London Hospice’s annual memorial ceremony
North London Hospice is inviting people to “light up a life” as part of its annual dedication ceremony in memory of those lost.
The ceremony at the charity’s Finchley headquarters begins at 4.30pm on Sunday, 24th November. It will include readings, music and poetry, culminating in the lighting of hundreds of lights on a memorial tree, each one dedicated to a loved one.
The ceremony will also offer participants mulled wine, doughnuts, mince pies and soft drinks.
As well as adding a light to the memorial tree, people can write a dedication and share a few words or a special memory “to help keep their memory alive”.
Anyone who would like to dedicate a light can register via the North London Hospice website here before Friday, 15th November.
