Haringey Aquatics social secretary Debora Marletta on the progress the club is making this season with success at the recent Middlesex County Championships

Haringey Aquatics delivered a strong team performance at the Middlesex County Championships 2026, held over the weekends of 7th and 14th February.
Seventeen of our athletes competed in 69 events and secured places in 14 finals. Building on a series of encouraging
results this winter, the club finished the championships with six medals.
These performances were welcomed by swimmers, the coach and families, and reflect the commitment and talent of our athletes and the ability of our small club to deliver consistently strong performances. In the coming months, swimmers who qualified for the county championships will work to achieve regional qualifying times.
Founded in 1948 by Tottenham local Jim Millbank, Haringey Aquatics now brings together swimmers from across the borough and has grown into Haringey’s competitive and friendly aquatics club, offering pathways in swimming, diving and water polo.
Training across Tottenham Green Leisure Centre, Park Road Leisure Centre, Duke’s Aldridge Academy and Mallinson Sports Centre, the club provides a supportive environment in which athletes of all ages can develop – from learn to swim and skills progression through to our competitive squads, masters and our highly valued women-only swimming classes.
Looking ahead, Haringey Aquatics continues to champion inclusive, community centred sport across North London.
We are one of only two clubs offering young people opportunities in competitive diving in North London. We have increased access to swimming and competitive aquatics for children and young people in some of the least affluent areas of the borough by maintaining one of the lowest fee structures of any aquatics club in London.
