Pupils from a Muswell Hill school have triumphed in a national swimming tournament held at the Aquatics Centre in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The team from Coldfall Primary School took part in Panathlon’s programme of competitive swimming for pupils with special educational needs (Send).

After finishing as runners up in the national finals last year, Coldfall returned and this time came out on top with 70 points.

Mitchell Browning, PE lead at Coldfall, said: “I am incredibly proud to share the outstanding experience our pupils had at the Panathlon National Swimming Gala Finals.

“Our team demonstrated their teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive spirit. It was inspiring to see how they supported one another throughout the day, celebrating every achievement, big or small.”
