Careers festival to be held in Wood Green

Food will be provided at this event at the Rising Green Youth Hub, reports Olivia Opara

A local youth centre will be hosting a careers festival for young people that will be taking place in Wood Green this week.

On Thursday (August 24th), Rising Green Youth Hub is hosting a careers festival for young people aged 16 to 25. The festival is an opportunity for young people to meet employers, learn more about different career pathways such as apprenticeships, explore additional training and education opportunities and receive CV and employability advice.

There will be stalls from a range of industries such as sports, hospitality and construction. There will also be presentations and workshops facilitated by organisations present on the day.

The careers festival has been organised in collaboration with Haringey Council, Haringey Works and DWP and is free to attend and food will be provided as well as a chance to win a Love2Shop voucher.
