Tottenham flower and produce show returns

The day-long event will also include handicrafts and pinhole photography, reports Olivia Opara

An annual flower and produce show will return with a series of summer creative workshops for children.

On Saturday, 9th September, the Friends of Lordship Rec are hosting the Tottenham Flower and Produce Show – a community showcase of home growing and baking, flower growing and arranging and crafting. On the day, there will be a range of plants, handicrafts and food stalls as well as information on health and wellbeing and local climate and food campaigns.

There will also be activities for children and families throughout the day such as natural arts and crafts, pinhole photography, Japanese fabric printing, stone painting and storytelling.

Leading up to the show, the Lordship Hub will be hosting a series of creative workshops for children to create entries such as making a miniature garden in a recycled box and jar, papier mache decorated bowls and flower jewellery and crowns. The workshops are free and will run from 30th August to 8th September.

The Flower and Produce Show will run from 11am to 5pm and is also free to attend.
