The last chance for residents to get involved is tomorrow!
A local campaign group is holding a workshop inviting locals to take part in an upcoming film.
Save the Warehouses, a group seeking to protect the future of warehouse communities around London (including Omega Works in Harringay), is hosting a workshop tomorrow (27th September) in which participants will create shadow puppets to tell the history of the Omega Works warehouses.
Shot entirely with shadow puppetry, the film will look at the history of this former piano factory and how it became the home of creative communities today – now threatened with a major redevelopment.
The event will be held at 3K Arts in the warehouses from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, and the film is set to screen as part of Haringey Feast on November 19th at Alexandra Palace.
