A fresh take on the traditional car boot sale is coming to Tottenham this weekend.

The ‘first ‘No Car Boot Sale’ launches at West Green Primary School on Sunday, 22nd March.

Running from 9:30am to 12:30pm, the event invites local residents to browse a mix of vintage finds, second-hand treasures and community stalls, all without the usual car park setup – “cutting out cars and keeping things a little greener”.

For £1 entry, visitors can expect everything from furniture, clothing and records to toys, books, bikes and tools, alongside a few unexpected gems.

One of the organisers Hannah Isichei said: “But “This isn’t your average Sunday rummage. Expect a real community feel at the No Car Boot Sale, with fresh pastries from local favourite Be More Shirley, coffee from Techo Verde, and even a local quilt club showcasing their work.

“There’ll also be live music from a local artist, adding to the relaxed, neighbourhood atmosphere.”

The event is the first-of-its-kind for the organisers, who hope to create something that feels both familiar and new – “a space for people to come together, support local makers and traders, and enjoy a slower Sunday morning in Tottenham”.

Hannah added: “Whether you’re hunting for a bargain, stopping by for coffee and pastries, or just curious to see what turns up, the No Car Boot Sale is set to become a new local favourite.”

All pitch fees from the event will go directly to West Green Primary School.
